What - if anything - do you remember from the night you won PPA Editor of the Year?

I'll never forget my first night at the PPAs… we were up against some incredibly sturdy competition so I was certain we'd never win… when we got the nomination I was already floored, but to see the hard work of our publisher and my team winning and acknowledged in that way was such a moment.

What was your favourite single front cover during your time as Editor and why?

It was a Star Wars cover…that my art editor and I had been dreaming up for years… . I've never worked so hard on a cover and I still talk about that cover to this day - a true labour of love, and, to paraphrase Han Solo, a great shot - it was truly one in a million.

Looking back as a PPA award-winning Editor, what advice would you now give yourself when you were starting out in our industry?

Dream big and love what you do.
